Belt Designs Return Policy

Any goods ordered from Belt Designs can be returned within 30 days of delivery if you decide the product is not suitable for you subject to our Terms and Conditions.

EXTENDED CHRISTMAS RETURNS PERIOD: Orders placed from 20th October until the 23rd December can be returned until the 31st January the following year (from the 24th December, purchases will fall into our normal 30 days Returns policy). This does not affect your statutory rights.

All customers should complete the returns form  that you will find inside the packaging, enclose this back inside along with the goods, protective inner packaging and a copy of the packing slip (this is usually on the back of the Returns Form) and return the unused and undamaged goods to the returns address listed below.

Please make sure the item is well packed using protective outer packaging. It is also recommend that you insure the returned goods for their full value in case they are damaged or lost in transit.  If you are based in the UK Royal Mail offer various postal services that will cover the value of your items – check the level of cover is sufficient for the items being returned. We cannot refund you if we do not receive the goods or they have been damaged on the return delivery.

We will process your refund soon after the goods have arrived at the return address listed below as long as they are undamaged and unused.  (Please note it can take several days for the funds to clear once we have instigated the refund this is related to the payment system such as Paypal, Stripe or your own banks processing system). We do not refund any postage charges incurred by you to return an item to us . If you are returning items delivered within the UK then we will refund the standard price delivery fee if returned within 30 days of receipt (we do not refund express delivery fees).

If we offered a free delivery service for orders over a specific value and you subsequently choose to  return part of your ordered items that result in the total value of the purchase being below the threshold for a free delivery service then the standard delivery fee will be deducted from the refund.

International Returns where we have paid Tax or Duty on Customers Behalf

If we have paid any Tax or Duty to Customs Authorities via a Delivered Duty Paid Service on behalf of an International customer and these goods are subsequently returned for a refund we will deduct any duty or tax we initially paid for the returned goods from the refunded amount.

Example for USA where we pay duty of 10% on customers behalf:

If an order total (not including shipping fee) is 60 GBP we pay 10% of this amount i.e. 6 GBP to US Customs. If the customer subsequently chooses to return the order to us we will deduct the 10% duty i.e. 6 GBP that we have paid to US Customs from the refunded amount.

Customers maybe able to reclaim this Duty from the relevant Customs authorities.

EU Consumer Customers

Please use our alternative website that has been designed to accept EU consumer orders including Tax and Duty. This means orders placed via the following website will include all Duty and tax payable as long as the order is 150 Euros or less.  N.B For all orders above 150 Euro additional Tax and Duty may be charged by the relevant countries customs authorities once the parcel arrives in the destination country.

For EU consumer purchases all tax is included at the checkout for orders with an intrinsic value under €150 ( goods only, excluding shipping/insurance). If goods purchased are subsequently returned a refund will be processed for the returned goods  including the tax portion of the order. We do not cover the cost of the return shipping. All returned items are subject to our usual Terms and Conditions namely items must be in new and unused condition and returned within 30 days of receipt.

The returns address will shown on the packing slip enclosed with your order.

You can contact us via email 24/7 and we usually answer within a few hours during normal U.K. working days.

If you send an email during the evening, weekend or public and bank holiday time then we will endeavour to answer the next working day.
