Leather belt loop with stitched edge.

Ideal replacement loops for belts with a stitched edge.

Select ‘Belt Width’ and ‘Colour’.

Standard Sizes to fit belt straps from 15mm up to 60mm width.

Made with full grain vegetable tanned leather.

The leather loops do not unclip – i.e. the two ends are joined by a fixed rivet.

The rivet provides a secure fastening and ensures the loop is long lasting.

This will give a full detailed explanation of how to select the correct size.

However here is a brief explanation below:

Measure the width of your belt or bag strap and select the desired ‘Colour’ and ‘Belt Width’ from sizes offered on the drop down list.

The loops are made with an inner circumference that will accommodate the width of the belt you have selected.

N.B.  The sizes we provide are not the width of the loop. Loop widths are always larger than the belt width as they must be able to slide over two layers of the belt accommodating both the width and two layers of the belt or strap it is intended for.

If you have an exceptionally thick leather belt i.e. over 4 mm then you may need to order a bespoke loop. Please contact us if a bespoke size is required.

This leather is tanned using only natural plant extracts which are not harmful to mankind and the environment.

It is long lasting and will develop a patina with age.

By wearing products made with vegetable tanned leathers you can feel good about contributing to a cleaner and safer environment.

Its by-products are also easily recycled.

Measure the width of your belt or bag strap and select desired Colour Combination and Belt / Strap Width the Loop/ Keeper is intended for.

We will then make a loop with a circumference that will accommodate the width of the belt / bag strap you have selected.

N.B. The sizes we provide are not the width of the loop.

Loop widths are always larger than the belt width as they must be able to slide over two layers of the belt /strap and must also accommodate the width of the belt or strap it is intended for.

We use Millimeters to describe belt / strap widths but if you require the size in Inches then we have given a rounded approximation below to help you visualize the sizes we use.

Dimensions we use to make our loops

1. LOOPS/ KEEPERS Made for Belts and Straps 30mm (1 3/16″) Wide and Over:

Loops made for belt and bags straps that are 30mm (1 3/16″) wide and over are made to accommodate two layers of leather that are approximately 3.5 – 4mm thick for each layer i.e. a total of approximately 7-8mm thick for two layers.

2. LOOPS/ KEEPERS Made for Belts and Straps Under 30mm (1 3/16″):

Loops made for belt and bags straps that are under 30mm wide are made to accommodate two layers of leather that are approximately 3 mm thick for each layer i.e. a total of approximately 6mm thick for two layers.

We use the above measurements as we have found them to be the average size for most belts and bag straps.

If your belt or strap differs to the average measurements we use to make our loops or you require a loop to accommodate more or less than two belt / strap layers then you may need to size up or down to allow for this difference.

i.e. The strips of leather are formed into loops and will accommodate the width of the belt selected from the drop down list. i.e. If you select 30mm we will make a loop to fit a 30mm wide belt and the strip of leather used to make this loop will be 12mm wide.
